My three priorities are affordability, safety and infrastructure, and responsible planning for growth. First, I want to continue controlling spending and keeping municipal taxes affordable while expanding the commercial tax base. Second, I want to ensure our roads, drainage, fire protection and community safety services keep pace with growth. Third, I want West St. Paul to plan ahead for the recreation and infrastructure needs of a growing population. Success should be measurable: maintaining a strong record of tax control, completing priority infrastructure projects, continuing effective community safety programs, and securing responsible investment in recreation and commercial development without placing unnecessary costs on residential taxpayers.

My three priorities are growth that our infrastructure can support, responsible finances, and reliable services for residents. Council needs a clear, public account of available water and sewer capacity, what has already been committed to development, and what upgrades will be needed next. If growth is moving faster than roads, drainage, and utilities can support, we need to address that. Growth must also respect the different parts of West St. Paul: rural areas should retain their rural character, while suitable commercial and light industrial development should be directed to appropriate and planned locations. By the end of the term, residents should see a funded infrastructure schedule, a water and sewer capacity plan, and annual reporting on development costs, reserves, and service results.

My three priorities are: 1. Responsible Growth: while protecting West St. Paul's rural character and quality of life. I would make sure that WSP grows and develops with the right resources. 2. Infrastructure and Services: would mean prioritizing roads, drainage, wastewater, snow clearing and public safety as our community grows. 3. Fiscal Responsibility and Accountability: Controlling spending while keeping tax pressure down and informing residents about their money and its uses.

West St.Paul has implemented an Asset Management Plan. This will guide how the RM is to maintain, monitor and determine when to improve physical assets. When the results of the Recreational Survey, which was conducted during summer 2026, and expected to be completed in 2027, has been brought to Council, I would work to start implementation of the recommendations which has the largest support of Council. I will also continue to advocate the Provincial Government to have reliable timeliness of when it comes to starting construction on improving their roads and intersections within the RM. These road improvements should also meet the demands of our future growth.
