Question 1 of 8
Priorities and results
What are the three most important outcomes you want West St. Paul to achieve during the next four years? What measurable result would tell residents you succeeded?
- Peter Campbell
Whether it's recreation, sewer and water projects, drainage concerns, or infrastructure improvements, I believe residents deserve a Council that listens and responds. Success isn't measured by promises. It's measured by results. I want residents to see improvements in their neighbourhoods, more projects completed each year, and a municipality that responds to their concerns. Keeping taxes affordable is also a top priority. We have gone four years without a municipal tax increase, and I will continue to support responsible financial management while standing up against unnecessary increases in school taxes. I also believe West St. Paul should be a community for everyone, from young families looking for childcare options to seniors who want to remain active, connected, and supported.
- Jacky Maan
My three priorities are improving drainage, managing growth responsibly and ensuring taxpayers get value for their money. Drainage and traffic are my first priorities. Residents should not have to deal with the same flooding and drainage problems year after year, nor with daily traffic. I want to see ditches properly maintained, unfinished drainage works addressed, and a clear plan for improvements. Second, new development must be supported by proper infrastructure without placing unnecessary costs on existing residents. Third, I want responsible and greater accountability at council. Success means completed drainage improvements, better infrastructure planning and clear reporting to residents on what council has accomplished.
- Yadwinder Sadioura
